Dhaka, May 3 (UNB) – A High Court bench with Justice Khondker Musa Khaled on Thursday granted an ad interim anticipatory bail to BNP MP  Mahbubuddin Khokan on surrender before it in connection with a criminal case on charge of torching a vehicle near Prime Minister’s office on April 29 hartal hours.

The bench was constituted by the Chief Justice following the split orders over the bail matter by an HC division bench on Wednesday.

Presiding judge M Anwarul Haque had granted him an anticipatory bail for a week asking him to surrender before the trial court by the time while co-judge M Mujibor Rahman Mian rejected his plea.
