3 arms traders held with arms in Pabna

Pabna, May 4 (UNB) - Three arms traders were arrested along with firearms at Digha village in Ishwardi upazila early Friday.

The arrested were identified as Ainul Haque alias Bhola, 30, Selim Sardar, 24, of Digha village and Rafiqul Islam, 30, of Silimpur village in same upazila.

Additional Police Super (crime) Khondoker Mohammad Shamim said this at a press conference at the Office of district Police Super this (Friday) morning.

Police received secret information that several arms traders were selling arms at a lychee garden.

Being tipped-off, members of Detective Branch (DB) of police and Ishwardi police jointly raided the area and held them along with two foreign pistols, four magazines and four bullets.
