Procession brought out marking Buddha Purnima

Khagrachhari, May 4 (UNB) – Buddhist devotees brought out a colourful procession in the town on Friday marking the Buddha Purnima.

Chairman of Task Force on Rehabilitation of Refugees  Jatindra Lal Tripura, MP, inaugurated the procession at Mohajan Para in the morning.

Several thousand Buddhist devotees in colourful dresses took part in the procession, which paraded different streets and later ended at Pankhaiya Para.
