Stocks dip in early trading

News - Stocks dip in early trading
Dhaka, May 7 (UNB) – Share prices at the country’s both bourses-- Dhaka Stocks Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) --witnessed a fall in the early hour of trading on Monday.

The DSE general index, DGEN lost 31.60 points or 0.61 percent to stand at 5129.62 at 11:35 am today. Of the issues traded till then, 32 advanced, 148 declined and 21 remained unchanged.

The CSE key index, CSCX shed 62.72 points to reach 9694.46 points also at 11:35 am. Of the issues traded till then, 10 gained, 70 suffered loss and 14 remained unchanged.

Trading at the two bourses remained closed on Sunday on the occasion of Buddha Purnima.
