Dhaka, May 8 (UNB) – Dhaka University (DU) will confer honorary Doctor of Laws degree upon Unesco Director General Irina Bokova at a special convocation tomorrow (Wednesday).

President Zillur Rahman, also Chancellor of the DU, will confer the degree at the convocation to be held at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban of the university.

DU Vice-chancellor Prof. Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique, and Senate and Syndicate members of DU will attend the convocation.
