Launch catches fire in Keraniganj
Keraniganj, May 9 (UNB) - A launch caught fire at Kaliganj Oilghat on the bank of the Burigana River here this (Wednesday) morning while being repaired.
Witnesses said MV Parabat-9 suddenly caught fire from a welding machine at about 9:30 am. Soon the blaze engulfed the second and third levels of the triple-decker vessel.
On information, firefighters from Sadarghat rushed in and were trying to douse to blaze as of 10:20 am.
