DARAA, Syria, MAY 9 (AP/UNB) - An explosion has targeted a Syrian military truck just seconds after a team of U.N. observers passed by.

An Associated Press reporter who was traveling in the U.N. convoy said three bloodied Syrian soldiers were rushed from the scene after Wednesday's blast. The military truck had its windows blown out.

The U.N. convoy was not hit.

The head of the U.N. observer mission, Maj. Gen. Robert Mood, was in the convoy.
