4th Women’s Club Cricket League begins on Friday

Dhaka, May 10 (UNB) - The 4th Women’s Club Cricket League begins tomorrow (Friday) at the BKSP ground in Savar with Dhaka Mohammedan SC taking on Cricket Coaching School in the inaugural match, that will start at 9:30 am.

Azad Sporting Club will encounter Rising Girls’ Cricket Academy in the other opening day’s fixture.

On the following day (Saturday), Sheikh Jamal DC will play Dipali JS while Kalabagan KC will face Orient SC.

A total of 12 teams, split into two groups, are taking part in 40-over-a-side match playing with white ball in colored dresses.

Participating teams are: Group A- Dhaka Mohammedan SC, Azad SC, Kalabagan KC, Orient SC, Rising Girls’ Cricket Academy and Cricket Coaching School.

Group B - Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, BKSP, Gulshan Youth Club, Dhaka Northern Women’s Cricket Club, Indira Road KC and Dipali Jubo Sangha.

Two top teams from each group will play the semifinal on May 27 while the final match will be held on May 29.
