BELGRADE, Serbia, MAY 10 (AP/UNB) - Serbian nationalists are accusing pro-EU reformists of robbery at last weekend's general elections, fueling tensions ahead of a key presidential runoff.
Progressive Party leader Tomislav Nikolic alleged Thursday that the "robbery" by the Democratic Party was particularly "brutal."
His party accuse the Democrats of printing extra ballots, and tempering with voting lists after last Sunday's balloting.
Pro-EU leader Boris Tadic - who will face Nikolic in the May 20 runoff - has rejected the allegations, saying they were designed to undermine his presidency bid.
Tadic was half a percent ahead of Nikolic in the presidential first round, while the Progressives led the parliamentary vote.
The third-placed Socialists have said they will form a new government with Tadic's Democrats.
