Security guard of city building injured in gun attack

Dhaka, May 10 (UNB) - Failing to find the owner of an under construction building for toll, extortionists fired several shots at the building, leaving its security guard injured at city’s Pallabi on Thursday.

Police said four to five criminals went to the under-construction building at House no-100, Road no-6, Block-B in Mirpur-12 at about 5:30 pm.

They then looked for its owner Kalam, who was not present there at that time, which angered them.

They fired several shots, that injured the on duty security guard Abdul Mannan, 50,

The injured was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
