
Dhaka, May 11 (UNB) - Three people were killed in separate road accidents in Magura and Benapole on Thursday and Friday.
In Benapole, Atiar Rahman, 45, son of Akkas Gazi of Pirgachhi village in sharsha upazila was killed as a motorbike hit him on Navaron-Satkhira road at Pipragachhi in the upazila while crossing road near his house early Friday morning.
In Magura, Nur Islam, 45, a human hauler driver of Kechuadubi village in Sadar upazila, was killed when his Magura town bound rice-laden human hauler plunged into a road side ditch while giving side to another vehicle at Chara Battala village in the upazila on Thursday afternoon.
In another incident, Chameli Begum, 7, daughter of Chand Ali of the same village was killed when a speedy truck ran over her while crossing road on Thursday noon.
Two separate cases were filed.
