Dhaka, May 13 (UNB) – The lawyers of Giasuddin Al Mamun examined witness Alimuzzaman, a police inspector, as trial of Tarique Rahman`s money laundering case resumed in a court here on Sunday morning.
Judge Mozammel Haque of the Special Judge`s Court 3 adjourned the proceeding fixing May 17 for the next hearing after the lawyers of Mamun examined Alimuzzaman, one of the prosecution witnesses in the case filed by Anti-corruption Commission (ACC) against BNP`s senior vice-chairman Tarique Rahman and his business partner Mamun over two and half years ago..
With this lawyers of the accused have examined four witnesses in the corruption case filed with Cantonment Police Station on October 26, 2009.
