BUENOS AIRES, Argentina, MAY 14 (AP/UNB) - A 10-man Boca Juniors settled for a lackluster 0-0 draw against Velez Sarsfield on Sunday, a result that handed first place to Newell's Old Boys in Argentina's first division.

Newell's defeated Union 3-1 on Saturday to improve to 28 points in 14 matches. Boca trails by two and Tigre and Arsenal are three back.

Boca went down to 10 men in the 42nd minute when Facundo Roncaglia was shown a red card for a sliding, studs-up tackle.
