News - Stocks down in early trading
Dhaka, May 14 (UNB) - Share prices at the country’s twin bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) - witnessed a fall in the early hour of trading on Monday.

The DSE benchmark index, DGEN lost 21.19 points or 0.42 percent to stand at 4980.61 at 12:00 pm. Of the issues traded till then, 48 advanced, 139 declined and 29 remained unchanged.

The CSE key index, CSCX also lost 9.02 points to stand at 9420.69 at 12:00 pm. Of the issues traded till then, 24 advanced, 76 suffered losses and 18 remained unchanged.
