3 killed in road crashes in Magura, Khulna

Dhaka, May 14 (UNB) – Three people were killed in road crashes in Magura and Khulna districts on Monday.

In Magura: A Jessore-bound truck from Arpara of Magura skidded and plunged into a roadside ditch as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving truck driver Shahin, 30, and helper, Humayun, 28, dead on the spot and another inmate Atiar severely injured at Chhoygharia on Jessore-Magura road in Shalikha upazila in the afternoon.

In Khulna: A Khulna city-bound bus from Dhaka hit a rickshaw, leaving rickshaw-puller dead on the spot at Boira in front of Khulna Radio Station on Khulna-Jessore road in Sonadanga upazila at 6 am.

Identity of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately.
