Visiting former OIC secretary general Algabid calls on Khaleda

Dhaka, May 15 (UNB) - Visiting former OIC secretary general Dr Hamid Algabid made a courtesy call on BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Tuesday night.

During the meeting, held at the BNP chief’s political office in Gulshan, both Khaleda and Hamid discussed matters relating to the interest of the Muslim Ummah (Muslim world), the meeting sources said.

The meeting lasted for about an hour from 9:40 pm.

BNP leaders Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury, Reaz Rahman and Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku were present at the meeting.
