Thursday’s HSC exams to be held on Friday (May 18)

Dhaka, May 16 (UNB) - The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday) have been postponed due to the countrywide dawn-to-dusk hartal called by the 18-party alliance. The Thursday’s examinations in two shifts under the eight education boards will be held on Friday (May 18) at 9:30 am and 2:00 pm, said a press release of the Education Ministry.

Mathematics (1st part), Finance and Marketing (1st part), Sociology (1st part), and Social Welfare (1st part) were scheduled to be held on Thursday.

The HSC and its equivalent examinations began on April 1. As per the original schedule, the written exams were supposed to end on May 20.
