Share prices down in early trading

News - Share prices down in early trading
Dhaka, May 17 (UNB) - Share prices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – witnessed a negative trend in the early hours of trading on Thursday, the last day of the week.

The DSE benchmark index, DGEN lost 16.93 points or 0.33 percent to stand at 5039.95 at 11:15 am. Of the issues traded till then, 44 advanced, 65 declined and 12 remained unchanged.

The CSE key index, CSCX also lost 25 points to reach 9419.56 till 11:15 am. Of the issues traded till then, 12 advanced, 32 suffered losses and 9 remained unchanged.
