Slight rise in temperature likely

Dhaka, May 21 (UNB) – Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over  Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions in 24 hours till 6 pm tomorrow (Tuesday).

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, Met Office said.

Mold to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Khulna and Barisal divisions and the regions of Rajshahi, Pabna, Tangail and Faridpur and it may continue.

Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.

The highest maximum temperature is likely to be 38-39 degree Celsius and lowest minimum temperature may be 23-24 degree Celsius.

The sun sets in the capital tomorrow at 6:37pm and rises on Wednesday at 5:13am.

Country’s highest temperature 38.5 degree Celsius was recorded today at Khulna and lowest 23.2 degrees at Jessore.
