Woman drug peddler held with liquor in Magura

Magura, May 22 (UNB) - Police arrested a female drug peddler along with 20 bottles of foreign liquor at Shablagachha village in Shreepur upazila on Monday evening.

The arrestee is Nazma Khatun, 30, wife of Abdul Makim of the village.

Shreepur thana OC Samshul Alam said on information a team of Detective Branch (DB) of police led by officer Mahatabur Rahman raided Nazma’s house and arrested her. They recovered the liquor from the house.

Police said Nazma was engaged in drug peddling since long. A case was filed.
