Construction worker electrocuted in Jessore

Benapole (Jessore), May 23 (UNB) - A construction worker was electrocuted at Poura Bazar in Monirampur upazila of Jessore district early Tuesday.

The victim was identified Rabiul Islam, 45, son of Anwar Hossain of Sholakur village.

Local sources said Rabiul came in touch with a live electrical wire while spraying water on the roof of an under-construction building amid lightning at about 12:10 am, leaving him dead on the spot.
