Chuadanga, May 25 (UNB) - Two people were killed as a truck rammed a motorbike carrying them at Ashanandapur intersection in Alamdanga upazila on Thursday evening.

The deceased were identified as Mamunur Rashid, Chuadanga field officer of BTC and his friend Ganjer Ali, both are residents of Alamdanga upazila.

Police said the a speeding truck hit a motorbike carrying Mamun and Ganjer Ali, leaving Mamun dead on the spot and injuring Ganjer Ali critically at around 3pm.

Injured Ganjer Ali was rushed to Chuadanga General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries after an hour.
