Indian truck driver killed in C’Nawabganj

Chapainawabganj, May 25 (UNB) – An Indian truck driver died falling from his truck at Sonamasjid land port in Shibganj upazila early on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Laxman Singh, 45. He hailed from Bihar province of India.

Police said the Indian truck driver slept on the roof of his vehicle after he came to the port along with his truck carrying imported goods on Thursday night.

Suddenly, he fell on the ground from the truck at about 2am and injured.

BGB members took him to a local hospital where the attending doctors declared him dead after admission there.

An UD case was filed with Shibganj thana.
