Dhaka, May 26 (UNB) - Thirty leaders and workers of Jubo Dal and Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) were injured as their joint procession came under attack by police in Narail district on Saturday.

BNP in a press release in Dhaka alleged that police also arrested 11 opposition activists from the ‘peaceful’ procession.

The party in a statement condemned the attack, demanded exemplary punishment of the attackers and release of the arrested.
