4 killed in B`baria road crash

Brahmanbaria, May 26 (UNB) - Four people were killed and another was injured in a road crash at Dhirpasha on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Bijoynagar upazila on Saturday afternoon.

Two of the dead were identified as CNG auto-rickshaw driver Abdul Khalek, 28, and Shah Alam, 30.

Identities of the other deceased could not be known immediately.

Police said a Sylhet-bound bus from Dhaka collided with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw leaving its driver Khalek and Shah Alam, one of its four passengers, dead on the spot at 1 pm. Three other auto-rickshaw passengers were severely injured.

The injured were rushed to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital where two of them died.

A case was filed.
