Dhaka, May 27 (UNB) – An agreement between the Television and Film Studies Department of Dhaka University and Media Studies Graduate Programme of the West Virginia State University (WVSU), USA was signed on Saturday.

DU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique and president of WVSU Dr. Hazo W. Carter signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.

The agreement is aimed at promoting international understanding, cooperation, fellowship and peace in a manner that will be sustainable through communication and leadership.

Besides, the agreement will promote the exchange of educational and technological ideas, especially in the area of New Media, said a press release.
