News - Stocks see negative trend in early trading
Dhaka, May 31 (UNB) – Share prices at the twin bourses of the country --Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – witnessed a negative trend in the early hours of trading on Thursday, the closing day of the week.

The DSE benchmark index, DGEN shed 12.60 points or 0.26 percent to stand at 4687.43 points at 12:00 pm today. Of the issues traded till then, 81 advanced, 101 declined and only 38 remained unchanged.

The CSE key index, CSCX also lost 59.08 points to reach 8879.79 at 12:00 pm today. Of the issues traded till then, 32 advanced, 67 declined and 24 remained unchanged.
