2 die in separate incidents in Natore
Natore, May 31 (UNB) - Two people, including a woman, died in separate incidents in the district town and Boraigram upazila on Wednesday night.
A housewife who has been abandoned by her husband was slaughtered by some miscreants at her house at Tiraiel Guchchhagram in Boraigram upazila on Wednesday night.
On information, police recovered the body of Shefali Begum, 40, of the village on Thursday morning and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy. The motive behind the killing could not be known immediately.
In another incident, police recovered the hanging body of a man from a tree behind Nitol-Tata Company Service Center in Ekdala area of the district town early this morning.
The deceased was identified as Taijul Islam, 50, worker of the Nitol-Tata Company Service Center of the area.
The body was sent to hospital morgue for autopsy. Police said it would be clear whether it was an incident of suicide or murder after receiving the postmortem report.
Separate cases were filed.
