Dhaka, May 31 (UNB) – Home Minister Shahara Khatun said in Parliament on Thursday that the government does not have any plan now to form separate security force the Sangsad Bhaban.

“All necessary steps are being taken to ensure security of the Sangsad Bhaban. The government doesn’t have any plan now to form separate security force,” she informed the House replying to a starred question of Fazilatunnesa Bappi (Women Seat 47).

The Home Minister also said that the government would take the required steps considering the necessity in the future.

Replying to a supplementary question of Bappi, she said the government has been working for the last three and half years to build the police force as `friend of the people’.

“In this regard, we’ve arranged trainings for the police both at home and abroad.”
