Woman held with 25 bottles of phensidyl in Magura

Magura, June 1 (UNB) - Police arrested a woman along with 25 bottles of phensidyl syrup at Arpara in Salikha thana on Thursday.

The arrested was identified as Reshma Khatun, 26, wife of Jahangir Hossain of Gatipara village in Sharsha upazila of Jessore.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of Salikha thana police conducted a drive on Jessore-Magura road at Arpara bus stand area at noon and arrested Reshma from a bus while she was going to Faridpur from Benapole along with the drugs.

Reshma was involved in drug peddling since long, police said.

A case was filed.
