
Dhaka, June 1 (UNB) - BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Friday distributed foods among the destitute at different parts of the city, marking the 31st death anniversary of Ziaur Rahman, the founder of BNP.
BNP central leaders distributed foods among poor people at Kuril Biswa Road, Uttar Khan and Nikunju where Khaleda, the widow of Ziaur Rahman, could not go.
Dhaka city unit BNP organised the programme on the occasion of death anniversary of Ziaur Rahman, who was assassinated by a group of disgruntled army officers at Chittagong Circuit House on May 30, 1981.
