Inter-School Dosti Art Competition held at Pakistan High Commission

Dhaka, June 1 (UNB) - The 4th Inter-School Dosti Art Competition organised by the Pakistan High Commission in Bangladesh was held in the capital on Friday.

The event with the theme “Nature” was aimed at further strengthening the bond of friendship between the two brotherly countries of Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Some 77 students from various private and governments schools from across the country participated in the competition held on the High Commission premises, said a press release.

An expert panel consisting of renowned artists Kazi Shaheed and Abdul Sattar Toufiq of Dhaka University, and Jamal Ahmad selected the first three winners of the competition.

The first prize went to Muntasir Ahmed of Ispahani Public School, Chittagong who won a trophy and a cash prize of Tk 10,000. The second prize went to Humaira Taher Promi of Gandaria Kochi Kachar Mela who got a trophy and Tk 8,000. Mimha Binta Monir of Bangladesh Shishu Academy won the third prize and awarded a trophy and a cash prize of Tk 6,000.

Seven other students were awarded special prizes.

The Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Afrasiab distributed the prizes amongst the winners.
