Dhaka, June 2 (UNB) – The twin bourses of the country – Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) - will enter new trading hours – 10:30am to 2:30pm - from Sunday.

“Trading at both the bourses will continue from 10:30am to 2:30pm instead of 11:00am to 3:00pm now,” DSE Deputy General Manager (Public Relations) M Shafiqur Rahman told UNB on Saturday.

Earlier, on March 31, leaders of both the bourses at a function in Chittagong had announced their plan to introduce the new trading schedule at a convenient time after formal approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission.   

The stock market regulator gave approval to the new schedule in the last week of May.
