Comilla, June 3 (UNB) - A poultry trader was stabbed to death and his two friends were injured in an attack by some terrorists at Dakkhin Betiara village in Chouddagram upazila early Sunday.

The deceased was identified a Mohinuddin,28, son of Abdus Salam of the village.

Police said a gang of terrorists stormed into a room adjacent to the poultry farm at about 1:30 am and beat up Mohinuddin’s two friends- Makbul and Helal, leaving them injured.

Later, they entered the room of Mohinuddin when he was asleep and stabbed him to death. The miscreants managed to escape.

Police said the youth might have been killed following previous enmity over drug trading. Mohin started the poultry business quiting the drug trading angering his friends.

The injured were admitted to Feni sadar hospital. Police recovered the body and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy.

Victim’s brother, Illias Ahmed, filed a case with Chouddagram thana.
