Bank official killed in Sirajganj road crash

Sirajganj, June 3 (UNB)-A bank officer was killed and three people were injured as a lorry rammed a human hauler (locally known as leguna) near Baghabari on Bogra-Nagarbari highway Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified as Russell Alam, 28, an assistant officer of One Bank and hailed from Kazipur upazila of the district.

Family sources said Russell met the tragic end of his life while going to his office at Baghabari from Shahjadpur upazila.

Witnesses said the lorry hit the leguna at about 10 am, leaving Russell dead and three other leguna passengers injured.

Police recovered the body and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy. A case was filed.
