Pabna, June 3 (UNB) – Ten people were injured in a gunfight between two rival groups at Bangram in Santhiya upazila on Sunday.

Local sources said supporters of Babu group and that of Fazlu group were locked into the intermittent clash, which  lasted two hours from noon.

Ataikula thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rabiul Hasan Sarker, however, denied the exchange of gunfire in the clash.   

The injured were admitted to different hospitals.
