2 killed, 15 injured in Comilla road crash
Comilla, June 4 (UNB) – Two people were killed and 15 others injured in a fatal bus-truck collision at Choigoria in Chandina upazila early Monday.
Among the deceased one was identified as the supervisor of the bus Shapan while identity of another victim could not be ascertained immediately.
Police said the Chittagong-bound bus of Hanif Paribahan collided with the truck coming from opposite direction at the point around 4am and both the vehicles plunged into a roadside ditch leaving the supervisor and a passenger of the bus dead on the spot.
The injured bus passengers were taken to Chandina upazila health complex and Comilla Medical College hospital.
Later, police recovered the bodies and sent those to hospital morgue for autopsy.
