Youth arrested with arms in Rajbari

Rajbari, June 4 (UNB) – Police arrested a young man along with a pistol and three rounds of bullet in No-2 rail gate area of the district town early Monday.

The arrestee was identified as Chand Biswas, 25, son of Jogai Biswas of Binodpur village of the town.

Police said acting on a tip-off, they arrested Chand at about 1:00 am while he was moving suspiciously in the area and recovered the pistol and bullets searching his body.

A case was filed against him under Arms Act.
