News - Khaleda to place shadow budget Tuesday
Dhaka, June 4 (UNB) - BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia will place her party’s thoughts and proposals tomorrow (Tuesday) on the upcoming national budget for fiscal 2012-13.

This will be third time that Opposition Leader Khaleda Zia will place the shadow budget outside parliament since 2010 during the tenure of the present Awami League-led grand alliance government.

Khaleda will place the BNP’’s thoughts and proposals on the next national budget at a press conference at 4 pm tomorrow (Tuesday) at Sonargaon Hotel, the BNP chairperson’s press wing said.

BNP and its allies did not join the last three budget sessions in parliament.

Finance Minister AMA Muhith will place the national budget for the next fiscal (2012-13), the fourth under the present Awami League-led grand alliance government, in Parliament on June 7 (Thursday).
