Stocks rise in early trading

News - Stocks rise in early trading
Dhaka, June 7 (UNB) - Share prices at the country’s twin bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- witnessed sharp gain within 15 minutes of the day’s trading on Thursday, the last day of the week.

The DSE benchmark index, DGEN gained 23.60 points or 0.49 percent to reach 4815.58 at 11:00 am today. Of the issues traded till then, 134 advanced, 26 declined and 26 remained unchanged.

The CSE key index, CSCX also gained 49.70 points to stand at 9126.03, also at 11:00 am today. Of the issues traded till then, 52 advanced, 18 declined and 19 remained unchanged.
