President authenticates proposed budget for fiscal 2012-13
Dhaka, Jun 7 (UNB) -President Zillur Rahman on Thursday authenticated the proposed national budget for fiscal 2012-13 before it was presented in parliament.
The President also approved the revised national budget for the outgoing fiscal 2011-12.
Deputy Speaker Showkat Ali, Chairman of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) Dr M Nasiruddin Ahmed and Finance Secretary Dr M Tarique were present at the signing ceremony held at the President’s Office of Sangsad
Bhaban.
Earlier, the cabinet at a special meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, at the Sangsad Bahaban approved the proposed the new budget.
The President also approved the revised national budget for the outgoing fiscal 2011-12.
