News - Jubo Dal leader killed in Rajbari; 4 held
Rajbari, June 8 (UNB) - A local Jubo Dal leader was stabbed to death allegedly by miscreants in Binodpur area of the district town Thursday midnight.

The deceased was identified as Shafiqul Islam Sumon, 25, joint-secretary of Rajbari Poura Jubo Dal unit and son of Fazlul Haque of the area.

Police said a gang of miscreants stabbed Sumon indiscriminately when he was returning home from a trade fair at Rajbari Railway Field at about 12am, leaving him dead on the spot.

A case was filed with Sadar thana against 7/8 people. Later, police arrested Anik, Kakon, Manik and Muktar from separate places of the town in connection with the murder.


Police sent the body to hospital morgue for autopsy. A case was filed.
