InterCall Named Asia Pacific Conferencing Provider of the Year by Frost & Sullivan for the Fifth Consecutive Year
SINGAPORE, June 8 (AsiaNet/UNB)- For the fifth consecutive year, InterCall, the world's largest conferencing and collaboration provider, has been named Frost & Sullivan's Conferencing Service Provider of the Year in Asia Pacific.
InterCall was awarded this honour based on its revenue and revenue growth, portfolio diversity, major wins and key achievements in financial year 2011.
"Receiving the Conferencing Service Provider of the Year award for the fifth consecutive year, InterCall has maintained its position as the most prominent brand in the conferencing and collaboration services market across Asia Pacific. The company witnessed a compound annual growth rate of 23.8% during this period," said Jessie Yu, Senior Industry Analyst, Asia Pacific ICT Practice, Frost & Sullivan.
"In 2011, InterCall restructured its sales and marketing teams to drive market awareness and penetrate the emerging economics like China and India. However, it continues to target growth verticals of banking and financial services, manufacturing and healthcare in mature markets like Australia, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong. The movement into IP communications services, through the unified solution of audio, video and web, combined with Microsoft 365, Cisco Jabber and hosted IP Telephony services, is also leading the conferencing services industry into a broader UC&C market space," added Yu.
"The InterCall team is excited to be winning this prestigious award again," stated Hain MacKay-Cruise, Managing Director, InterCall Asia Pacific. "Our company has a strategic focus on investing in innovation and solution development especially for our Asia Pacific customer base, and hence this long-standing and well recognised industry honour is testament to our continued success in delivering customer value within this dynamic region and the changing market."
This honour was conferred at the 2012 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific ICT Awards, held in Singapore, which recognises companies in the information and communications industry that have risen above the competition and demonstrated outstanding performance across the Asia Pacific region.
