10 houses damaged by fire in Rajbari

News - 10 houses damaged by fire in Rajbari
Rajbari, June 10 (UNB) - At least 10 dwelling houses of five families were gutted by a fierce fire which broke out at Tofadia village in Kalukhali upazila on Saturday noon.

Fire Service sources said the fire originated from electric short circuit at a house and soon engulfed the 9 other adjacent houses.

On information, two fire fighting units from Rajbari town and Pangsha upazila headquarters rushed in and doused the blaze after three hours of hectic efforts with the help of local people.

The affected house owners claimed that the extent of loss from the fire could go up to Tk 15 lakh.
