Dhaka, June 13 (UNB) - Bangladesh Under-22 Football team leaves here for the Nepalese capital, Kathmandu, tomorrow (Thursday) morning to participate in the qualifying round of the inaugural AFC U-22 Championship.

Bangladesh has been placed in Group D of the qualifying round along with Uzbekistan, Jordan, Yemen, and hosts Nepal. Later, two top teams of the group will qualify for the next round.

Bangladesh will play hosts Nepal in the inaugural match on June 16 at the Dashrath Stadium in Kathmandu.

In the remaining group matches at the same venue, Bangladesh will play Uzbekistan on June 18, meet Jordan on June 22, and Yemen on June 24.
