Magura, June 13 (UNB) - Two Jubo League workers were killed in a road accident in front of Textile Mill area on Magura-Jessore road today (Wednesday).

The deceased were identified as Mohidul Islam, 17, son of Shahidul Islam and Sirajul Islam, 20, son of Abdul Awal of Vitasair village in sadar upazila.

Police and hospital sources said a truck collided head-on with their motorcycle on their way home from the town in the area leaving them dead on the spot around 4pm.

However, locals rushed them to Magura Sadar Hospital where duty doctor pronounced their death on arrival.

The truck driver managed to flee the spot.

A case was filed with Magura Police Station.
