Brothers Union beat Farashganj SC 1-0

Dhaka, June 13 (UNB) - Brothers Union Club earned a 1-0 goal victory over Farashganj SC in the Grameenphone Bangladesh League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium today (Wednesday).

With the day’s win, Brothers Union Club advance to the 7th slot in the league table securing 18 points from 17 matches while Farashganj remained at 8th place with their previous credit of 17 points from 17 matches.

Nigerian player Olalekin Joshua scored the match-winning goal for the Gopibagh outfit Brothers Union in the 15th minute, off a Shipon pass (1-0).

Farashganj got a good chance to make the equalizer in the 52nd minute but Akbar Hossain Ridon’s shot went inches over the crosspiece.
