Farmer killed over land dispute

Sherpur, June 13 (UNB) - A farmer was hacked to death by his rivals over a land dispute at Shalchura village of sadar upazila today (Wednesday).

The deceased was identified as Shorafat Ali, 40, son of Tagu Sheikh of the village.

At least four people were injured from the both sides during the clash.

Police arrested six people in this connection.

Police sent the body to hospital for autopsy.
