Minor boy burned to death in Khulna
Khulna, June 15 (UNB)-A minor boy was burned to death and his elder brother sustained burn injuries as a fire broke out in their house at Bederdangi village in Pikegachha upazila Wednesday evening.
The deceased was identified as Minarul Islam, 5, while the injured was Monirul Islam, 16, sons of Latif Sana.
Police said the house of Latif Sana caught fire when his daughter Hafiza was playing with fire.
The fire engulfed the whole house, leaving Minarul, who was asleep when the incident occurred, dead on the spot.
Monirul, who was also asleep, managed to come out from the burning house. He was admitted to a local clinic with critical injuries.
