Inter-service Quirat, Azan competition concludes

Dhaka, June 15 (UNB) – Inter-service Quirat and Azan competition concluded at the central mosque of BAF Base Kurmitola on Friday.
        
Bangladesh Army team clinched the title of the meet while Bangladesh Navy team became runners-up.

Leading Seaman Mohammad Owali Ullah of Bangladesh Navy team secured first position in Quirat and Sainik Shah Alam of Bangladesh Army team secured first position in Azan competition, said an ISPR release.

Meanwhile, Sergeant Mohammad Abdul Malek of Bangladesh Army team secured second position in Quirat and leading Seaman Mohammad Abu Lais of Bangladesh Navy team secured second position in Azan competition.

Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Operation) Rear Admiral M Farid Habib distributed prizes among the winners as the chief guest.

Earlier on Tuesday, Air Officer Commanding of the local Base Air Commodore Ehsanul Gani Choudhury inaugurated the competition as the chief guest.
